Streets Of Which I Roam

from The Reveal by GT

/

about

My son actually wrote the lyrics to this song. Gary then wrote and recorded the music and vocals. I was real impressed when I heard the song for the first time and found myself playing along with a few power chords so, I decided to record them and mix them into the track.

I then played the song for my son and he loved it. Then, with his and Gary's permission we make this the final mix and added it to the album.

Be sure to watch the video for this song. It's a real trip!

lyrics

I'm racing down the streets
I feel the city heat
And everywhere I go
I just don't seem to know
All the buildings that I see
Are faces mocking me
And people walking by
Seem to have no eyes to see

I'm someplace I've never been
Did I maybe make a sin?
I need someone to shine a light
And guide me through the night
I don't know who I am
I don't know how I got here
Help me get back home
Off these streets of which I roam

Streets of which I roam

I look up at the stars in the sky
And hear an awful cry
I start to sprint down the street
Feel the fire burn my feet
I don't know where I'm going
Or when I will get there
The darkness makes shapes in my face
I can't see this ain't fair

Won't you come to my aid
Please help I am afraid
My mind races faster
Did I maybe make a sin?
I need someone to shine a light
Someone please guide me through the night
And help me get back home
Off these streets of which I roam

Streets of which I roam

Streets of which I roam

Streets of which I roam

In the blackness my muscles cringe
Did I maybe make a sin
I need someone to shine a light
And guide me through the night
Unaware of where I am
I look around again
Help me get back home
Off these streets of which I roam

Streets of which I roam
