Imagine what it would be like if Ghosts were actually looking for us just like we are searching for them.

This could explain many things like mysterious orbs of light (they could be ghostly flashlights), or apparitions that appear out of nowhere (they may be seeing the same exact thing in their dimension) or a host of any number of strange occurrences.

With ghost hunting gaining popularity in the mainstream I thought it was a viable quest to pursue.

Or perhaps, just perhaps there is a hidden meaning just waiting to Reveal itself to you, the listener.
